FATORES RELACIONADOS À FRAGILIDADE MULTIDIMENSIONAL EM PESSOAS IDOSAS

Objective: to analyze the sociodemographic and health factors related multidimensional frailty in elderly people living at home. Method: cross-sectional study that evaluated 300 enrolled a Health Unit north of Portugal through form. The conditions were analyzed Tilburg Frailty Index, Falls Efficacy Scale International 7 items, Barthel Index Lawton Brody applied. Results: sample (81.34±6.748 years) mostly female (60.33%) married (58%). prevalence was 60.33%, correlating with gender, marital status, self-perceived pathological history, polymedication, falls, fear falling higher level dependence. Conclusion: is prevalent condition, when predictive primary care are early, it possible intervene order delay this syndrome.
